Knowledge is like an ocean, vast and infinite. The further you venture, the deeper you realize it goes. Yet, if you only stand at the shore, you may falsely believe you've seen its entirety.

知识就像一片海洋，浩瀚无边。你越深入探索，就越发现它的深邃。然而，如果你只是站在岸边，可能会错误地以为自己已经看见了它的全部。

1. Be like (look like 或者seem like) 看起来像, 感觉像是…

e.g. She’s like her mom.  她很像她妈妈。

e.g. It’s like summer outside.  外面就像夏天一样。

e.g. He’s like super tall.

e.g. How do you feel?  It’s like I haven’t slept for three days. 你感觉怎么样? 感觉就像是3天没睡觉. 

2. Vast and infinite  

e.g. The sky is like a canvas, vast and infinite. 天空像一块画布，浩瀚无边。

e.g. Human potential is like the universe, vast and infinite. 人的潜力如宇宙般浩瀚无边。

套用结构: A is like B, adj1 and adj2.

e.g. The mountains are like giants, tall and majestic. 群山如巨人般耸立，高大雄伟。

e.g. Time flows like a river, continuous and infinite. 时间如河流般流淌，连绵不绝。

3. The + 比较级, the + 比较级

The more you practice, the faster you improve. 你练得越多，进步越快。

特别强调: go 的用法

第1: 空间延伸 The road goes all the way to the beach. 这条路一直通向海滩。

第2: 时间延伸 The festival goes until next Sunday. 节日持续到下周日。

第3 抽线概念延伸, 知识/深度/范围…

The story goes deeper than you think. 这个故事比你想的更深。

Her knowledge goes far beyond her age. 她的知识远超同龄人。

4. False believe  错误的认为

Many people falsely believe that learning ends after school. 很多人错误地认为学习在学校结束后就停止了。

Some falsely believe that money can buy happiness.有些人错误地认为金钱可以买到幸福。
