场景1: 在工作场所

你注意到一个新面孔，想确认对方是不是新员工。
A: Hi, I don’t think we’ve met before. Are you new here? 
B: Yes, I just started last week. 

场景2: 在学校

学生对新同学表示好奇。
A: Hey, are you new here? I haven’t seen you in class before.
B: Yeah, I just transferred from another school.
