实用口语：off the charts

Off the charts 水平或者程度很高, 远超正常水平或者标准

两种用法, 第一种直接做说什么什么 is/are off the charts. 

e.g. The cost of living in that city is off the charts.那个城市的生活成本非常高

e.g. The excitement at the concert was off the charts. 音乐会上的兴奋程度超乎寻常。

e.g. The new restaurant's popularity is off the charts. 这家新餐厅的受欢迎程度非常高。

第二种当作形容词时候用, off-the-charts + 名词

e.g. They have an off-the-charts chemistry together. 他们之间的默契非常好。

e.g. The off-the-charts demand for the new product has surprised everyone. 对新产品的极高需求让所有人都感到惊讶。
