Shit 用法系列2:  a piece of shit, know your shit(about something), the shit 

1) A piece of shit 垃圾（人道德品行不行；设备质量不行）

e.g. How’s the new car?  – Oh, it’s a piece of shit. I’ve had to take it to the mechanic several times. 新车咋样？哎，垃圾的很。我已经送去修理好几次了。

e.g. That guy just stole that woman’s purse! – Somebody stop that piece of shit! 那个人偷了那个女的钱包。谁快拦住那个垃圾。

2) Know your shit 对某一领域理解深刻透彻

e.g. That girl knows her shit about motorcycles. 那个女孩对摩托车还真是挺懂的。

e.g. If you want to work here you have to know your shit. 如果你想在这工作，你一定要专业过硬。

3）The shit 特别棒的人或事

Man, this band is the shit. I really love their music. 这个乐队太棒了，我真的非常喜欢他们的音乐。

This restaurant is the shit, they have the best spring rolls. 这个餐厅特别棒，他们春卷最赞了！
