If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. 如果觉得压力太大，你就别干。

字面是说如果你忍受不了厨房里的热，你就从厨房出去。这里面stand 是忍受的意思，比如你家邻居很吵闹，你说I can’t stand the noise. 就是我受不了这个噪音了。if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. 是有一点负面含义的，如果你扛不住压力，如果你能力不行，如果你困难解决不了，你就走人别干，让别人干。

If the pressure is too much for you, you know what they say, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.  如果压力对了你来说太大了，就像大家说的一样，如果收不了厨房里的高温，就从厨房出去。

我们也可以说If you can’t take the heat 如果你承受不了这个高温, 或者If you don’t like the heat, 如果你不喜欢这个高度，get of the kitchen. 比如大家一起做事情，其中有人说这个风险大，这里有问题哪里有问题难解决： 

 ‘It seems a bit risky to me. Are you sure we should do this?’ ‘Well, if you can’t like the heat…’ 我感觉有点风险太大了，你确定我们应该做吗？嗯，如果你承受不了压力，就算了。
