Traffic 3个用法

1）名词，交通。

e.g. There’s a lot of traffic. 路上车很多。

e.g. The traffic is bad. 路上很堵。

2. Be stuck in traffic 堵在路上

e.g. He will be 20 minutes late because he is stuck in traffic. 他要晚20分钟，因为他被堵在路上了。

e.g. I’m sorry. I’m late. I was stuck in traffic. 不好意思我迟到了。刚刚堵在路上了。

3. Beat the traffic 躲过车高峰期；

e.g. We’re leaving early in the morning to beat the traffic. 我们早晨出发很早避免堵车。

e.g. Beating the traffic is almost impossible at this hour. 这个时段避开堵车几乎不可能。
