e.g. When he said he was gonna hurt you, he wasn’t serious. It’s just a bluff./He was just bluffing.  他说他要伤害你的时候，不是真心的。他就是虚张声势唬人而已。

e.g. I don’t believe he will actually do it. It’s just a bluff./He’s just bluffing. 我相信他不会真的这么做的。他就是虚张声势唬人而已。

e.g. She said she would leave her job, but it was just a bluff./but she was just bluffing. 她说她会离职，但是她就是虚张声势唬人而已。
