1. It’s a no-brainer. 这还用想吗？（太显而易见了）

字面是说这是一个不需要大脑的事情，也就是不用思考。比如：我应该去哈佛大学还是哈尔滨佛教学院？It’s a no-brainer. Of course you should go to Harvard. 这还用想吗？当你应该选择去哈佛大学啊。

2. He’s such a foodie. 他真是个吃货。

Foodie 我们可以翻译成吃货，对食物很感兴趣的人；Peter is such a foodie. He’s always watching the Cooking Channel and re-creating new dishes that he sees. 皮特真是个吃货。他总是看美食频道，然后自己再造他看到的美食。

3. Just get to the point. 快说重点！

就是字面意思，直接说重点。如果别人表达很长，很多废话，你没有耐心了，你可以说：I don’t need all the little details.  Just tell me exactly what you need me to understand.  Get to the point. 我不需要知道那么多细节。你就跟我说你想让我知道什么。直接说重点吧！

4. You should dump him. 你应该跟他分手。

Dump someone 就是主动跟某人提分手。I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to dump him. 我受不了了。我只能把他给甩了。

5. No take-backs. 不能说了不算啊。

字面意思就是不能收回，说过的话不能收回了。你答应朋友把电脑送给他，后来你有点反悔，说这电脑你也用不着啊，你平时用手机就行了。朋友一看医药反悔，就说No take-bakcs. It’s mine now.
