场景：Hello, do you work here? 你好，你是这里工作人员吗？

发音：一般疑问句语调上扬，work 是内容词重读。

讲解2. Guilty. Can I help you find something? 

场景：服务人员问Can I help you?

发音：Can I 弱读和和连读；一般疑问句一调上扬，内容词在find上面。

讲解3. She’s gonna be in here. Celebrity authors? I thought Fox was pretty obscure. 

发音：gonna = going to 的略读

句型：I thought…我原以为

e.g. I thought you were pretty close. 

e.g. I thought she would come with you. 

词汇：obscure: "Obscure" things are not very well-known. They're only known by a few people

e.g. You have pretty obscure taste in music

e.g. I dropped out of graduate school because I didn't want to spend the rest of my life researching some obscure writer from the 18th century.

补充：maternal grandparent 外祖父母； paternal grandparent 爷爷奶奶；My grandmother on my mom's side 

e.g.  My grandmother on my mom's side is Korean.

句型：You’re not expected to …你应该不..

e.g. You’re not expected to understand that. 

句型：I’m not expecting to do something/something

e.g. I’m not expecting anything in return.

e.g. I’m not expecting this. 

讲解6. So he’s gonna wander around for another, like, five to ten minutes, just to find something legitimate to buy with it. 

搭配：wander around 毫无目的的闲逛

e.g.We had a few hours to kill before we had to catch our train, so we just wandered around downtown for a while.

e.g.Could you please give me some directions? I've been wandering around for hours with no idea where to go.

词汇：legitimate /lɪˈdʒɪtɪmɪt/ adj. 合理的，合法的
