1. I’ve been applying to probably two jobs a day for the past four months probably. 

1）断句：I’ve been applying to probably/ two jobs a day/ for the past｜ four months probably. 

2）重读弱读：I’ve been ↘ applying to probably/ two jobs a day ↗/ for the past｜ four months probably ↗.

3）弱读：

I have —I’ve 

been—bin 

for—fer 

4) 表达：

Have been doing something 最近一段时间一直做某事

e.g. I’ve been↘ i working out for past 2 years. 

e.g. I’ve been ↘ in this line of business/for the past 10 plus years. 

Apply to a job 申请工作

For the past + 时间；

2. But um, they wanted experience, all the jobs, and I don't have experience.

1）But, um 中t的变音；

2）wanted—-waned 

3）Experience 的声调，在重音位置升调

But ︶ um, they wanted ex ↗ perience, all the jobs, and ︶ I don't have experience.

3. I mean, I went to college, and I always thought that was experience, but it's not, apparently.

1）弱读：to—t

2）重读：college 一般名词都是内容词，都是要重读

3）But 和not 的t 都没有发音

4）表达积累：I always thought …but … 我一直以为…但…

E.g. I always thought raising kids was easy, but it’s not, apparently. 

I mean, I went to college, and I always thought that was experience, but it's not, apparently.

4. And everywhere I go, they're like, well can you do Excel? Can you do PowerPoint? And it just gets to the point where I can't even get a job at Bed Bath & Beyond.

1）弱读：And—n

2）弱读：they’re —there

3）Can 略读类似于啃

4）一般疑问句在最后一个内容词的重音位置上扬（二声） Ex ↗ cel?P ↗ ower Point?

5）连读：and it —an︶it, get ︶ a (并且t 变成d)

6）表达：and it just gets to the point where… 到了这样的程度…

e.g. And it just gets to the point where I don’t have a place to live in. 

And everywhere I go, they're like, well can you do Ex ↗ cel? Can you do P ↗ ower Point? And ︶it just gets to the point where I can't even get ︶ a job at Bed Bath & Beyond.

5. Like literally, I tried to get a job at the Bed Bath & Beyond near Union Square and I had an interview and I thought it went pretty well, but they ↗ never call me back, because they said I didn't have enough experience.
