5 Healthy Morning Routine Habits for 2019

 

The next habit is to be both creative and organized, and the best part is you could do them at the same time. I think it’s really important to take time each day to plan everything out, but also give yourself a little bit of downtime to be creative. So in the mornings, I have actually been using my bullet journal. How are you supposed to use a bullet journal? And it’s really nice. I get my coffee, I sit down, I use my colored pencils, I have a plant thing going on right now, and I just plan out my day. And also do it in a creative way so that I am relaxed and putting my energy into something that’s quite positive but also getting everything on track. 

 

The fourth habit is to have a cleaning ritual for the morning. One of the first things I do every morning is unpack all the dishes from the previous night, and put away the dish rack, and then wipe down the benches. Then I can get on with making my tea or my coffee or whatever else it is that I need to do. But it’s nice to do a little bit of cleaning in the morning because it’s going to help you stay on top of your cleaning but also make you feel like you’ve got straight in and achieved something, and are being productive straightaway for you. It could be putting away the dishes, packing the dishwasher, unpacking the dishwasher, wiping down the benches, maybe doing some vacuuming. There’s a whole range of little tasks you could do to make yourself feel more productive in the morning.

 

And the fifth habit is to get your body moving in the morning. I think a really easy way to do so is stretching. I’ve been noticing a lot of people adding this to their routine. And it is really great for your flexibility, it is good for blood flow to your muscles, and it’s also a stress reliever so it’s really good for you to start your day off on the right foot. And if you want to be a little bit more intense you can do a full proper at-home workout or you can do some yoga. It’s up to you but I think it’s really important to get your body moving in the morning.
